Job Description

GCS is currently recruiting for a Hardware Design Engineer to be part of a growing and innovative Hardware Design & Development team based in the Essex area. The company delivers products to one of the largest entertainment providers in the world. Due to expansion an exciting opportunity is now available for a Hardware Design Engineer. As Hardware Design Engineer you will work within a team generating innovative ideas and concepts for product evolution and new prototypes. This will require you to evaluate new technologies and understand how they can be utilised to meet the needs of current and future markets. You will be carrying out a variety of tasks including the design of analogue and high-speed circuits, assisting in PCB layout and generating schematics using eCAD software. Ideally you will a Degree qualified Electronic Engineer (or equivalent) with proven experience in product development. Experience in FPGA technologies with knowledge of VHDL is beneficial. Exposure to 8-bit microcontrollers and C programming skills is preferred. This is an excellent opportunity to join a company with ambitious growth plans.
