Job Description

Nurse Practitioner - East London - £28 -37,000Our client, a leading healthcare provider, is looking to recruit a Nurse Practitioner to work as part of a team at a walk-in centre located in East London. The role will involve assessing patients, making diagnoses using a range of validated guidelines, administering treatment and discharging or referring them as appropriate to other healthcare professionals /external agencies. Our client is looking for someone who ensures that clinical nursing activities are evidence based and who will participate in the dissemination of best practice within the walk in centre. To apply for this position you must be a Registered Nurse with current registration with the NMC and will have a recognised Nurse Practitioner qualification at minimum of degree level or equivalent. Candidates must have proven post registration experience in the management of long term conditions e.g. asthma, COPD, diabetes, CHD. Candidates must also be able to demonstrate proven ability to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of their own clinical practice and will have had previous experience of managing and developing a nursing team.
